Neem Oil: Details
What is it?
Neem oil has a dual purpose in a vegetable garden as both a pesticide and a fungicide. Neem oil repels and kills many harmful insects and mites, making it a worthy addition to your arsenal against bugs.
When & How to use
Use only when bugs or fungus are present.
Add 5 mL or 1 teaspoon per litre of warm water mixed with a drop or two of dishwashing liquid.
Use the mixture within 24 to 48hrs for best results.
Spray lightly across infected plants once per day until bugs & fungicide are no longer present.
Spraying can be repeated at 2 day intervals to stop pests returning.
Always thoroughly rinse treated plants prior to consumption.
If the mixture hardens: It is normal for this natural oil to harden over time. Just place the jar into hot water, ensuring the water level does not reach the cap. Leave for 5-minutes or until the mixture becomes runny again.
Storage
Always keep product in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
